The Westin Hotel location is pretty much perfect. Check-in took a little while, but we received a free room upgrade which was greatly appreciated. Room was spacious and of a high standard overall. Great shower and bed. The little balcony was a nice touch, too.
All the staff were very polite and helpful. I called the concierge (?) once or twice for an extra towel etc. and they were always incredibly responsive. Check-out was very efficient and they kindly looked after multiple pieces of luggage, including a large birthday cake which required refrigeration.
Not many negatives, but for a five star hotel I would expect the spa (which I believe is referred to as a ‘bubble pool’) to at least be heated. We also seemed to have issues with hot water in the room itself, as the water was cold during one evening. This means the Westin probably warrants a 4.5 overall, but I’ll be nice and round up due to the room upgrade.
