We have been here on five separate occasions, and have fallen more in love with this place each and every time, so when it came to choosing a venue for our wedding reception, it was an obvious choice.
Under the new, very helpful and friendly owners, Rusty Gate has become more beautiful, comfortable and accommodating without losing its rustic charm.
The renovated cottages are decorated beautifully, fully equipped and spacious, while the dormitories are equally neat, clean and have all the amenities, including an enormous kitchen with everything you need.
The owners and staff are incredibly hands on and were more than willing to help with everything we needed, and were great with communicating in the build up to our stay.
The picturesque setting is second to none, with numerous walks/hikes to enjoy, and the dam – with a zip line running over it – was a definite hit.
Thank you once again for making our wedding stay unforgettable for both us and our guests. We will definitely be back
