There are many great options to choose from to arrive at Brighton Savoy  – either by Taxi, Public Transport, Direct Bus service or pamper yourself with a luxurious chauffeured service!

1. Melbourne’s Taxis

Despite what many people may say Melbourne’s Taxis are very efficient and most drivers know the hotel well. Upon arrival at Melbourne Airport you will find taxi rank’s managed by airport authorities. The queues for taxi cabs outside the departure terminal  move very quickly.  A trip from the airport to our hotel is anywhere between AUD$70.00 – $90.00 depending on traffic and time of day . This fare should also include the airport surcharge and tolls for the use of city link.

3. Airport Shuttle

Another option is to utilise the Skybus – Frankston and Peninsula Bus Shuttle (FAPAS) servicing the south east suburbs.  A quick, convenient and cheap option! For bookings please call them directly on 1-300759-287 or book online Skybus Online.  A minimum of 24 hours notice is required when booking.  A request can also be made for drop off right at our door (will depend on how busy the run is), otherwise drop off point is on the corner of New & Bay Streets in Brighton – a 15 minute walk or 5 minute taxi ride.

4. Public Transport – Train

There is no direct public transport service operating from Melbourne Airport to Brighton Savoy  You could utilise any of the above services or any of the bus services operating from the airport to get to the heart of Melbourne (most of the bus services will take you directly to Southern Cross Railway Station at a reasonable price).  From Southern Cross you can board the Sandringham line train and disembark at Middle Brighton railway station.  The hotel is only a quick walk along Church Street then turn left into Carpenter St which becomes Wellington Street (This should take 8-10mins).  There are many cafes, restaurants and shops to entice you along the way!
