Bill Parton is a fresh, popular, classy, hip, charismatic, super-smooth and internationally-acclaimed award-winning vocalist, performer, pianist and entertainer. He effortlessly combines jazz, swing, adult contemporary & easy listening genres with modern show business to create a product that’s cool and socially relevant today. Bill draws his jazz influences from Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Harry Connick Jr, Jamie Cullum, Mark Murphy and Kurt Elling. His mainstream musical influences include The Beatles, Queen, Jeff Buckley, Radiohead, Coldplay and Keane.
Bill first formally connected with music at eight years old when he began private piano tuition. In the early years, aside from piano, he also dabbled in violin, trumpet and even the banjo! He completed his secondary schooling through Brighton Secondary School, a school nationally renowned for its Special Interest Music Program, where he was awarded a music scholarship. At Brighton, he was introduced to improvisation, theory, harmony, music history, small ensembles, choirs, orchestras and big bands. Parton holds a Master of Music Studies (Performance) degree, which he completed through the Sydney Conservatorium of Music (University of Sydney). He has enjoyed the tuition from some of the country’s finest jazz educators, including Matt McMahon, David Theak, Simon Barker, Andrew Dickeson, Dan Barnett, Craig Scott, Kevin Hunt, Judy Bailey and Mike Nock.
Parton comes with a wealth of experience and an impressive resume having been active on the professional live scene since 12 when he first started performing at local piano bars. He has since accumulated over 1000 performances to over 750 different clients at over 250 different venues. I have been working in this industry for over 15 years, and in that time, I’ve come to absolutely love what I do for a living; in what I think is the most magnificent industry on earth… Entertainment.

Directing, promoting, producing and coordinating live bands and functions of all sizes are some of my many roles and experiences over the years that have taken me worldwide for many famous artists in the UK and all over America.
I work alongside Australia’s leading artists and some International Artists as a musical director/drummer/tour manager. I have a wealth of experience and knowledge that extends to every client.
I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing some amazing cover bands and singers in different styles from jazz bands, soul bands, corporate entertainers and soul nights that have left me feeling breathless.

Wedding Services, Here’s what we do:
There are many options if you are interested in having live music for your wedding and ceremony; for example, during the processional and signing could be accompanied by an acoustic duo or string quartet. Another option is having a quartet playing for your guests whilst they arrive before and is a unique touch for the perfect wedding ceremony.
For your guests before you arrive:
A smaller selection of musicians can play traditional jazz and swing or acoustic music in the background to entertain the room. This is a really important way to set the tone for the night without overdoing it – perfect music for chatting and sipping cocktails!
In this instance, the band would break down into a smaller group as a quintet or quartet and play some cool chilled out tunes as your guests arrive and keep the room buzzing as your family and friends zip their wine and cocktails.
As you Enter
As the newlyweds make their entrance, the band pumps it up with pre-select tunes as you and the bridal party enter the reception. This is normally 20-second snippets of your favourite tunes that are typically associated closely with that particular bridal party member; for example, as the younger bridal party members enter, why not play some Uptown Funk, Let’s Get Loud, Moves Like Jagger, 24K Magic, Let’s Groove Tonight and more, and then whilst parents are announced, why not a little bit of Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin, Sway, or L-O-V-E, or That’s Life.
The Reception
We can offer our many years of experience to help you tailor the perfect nightlong experience for you and your guests. We will work with you and your other suppliers to ensure your timings for dinner and formalities are perfected to optimise time on the dance floor.
Discuss your first dance options with us – we can perform your dream song, or if you want to choreograph a masterpiece to the original recording, we can help facilitate the timings then move into live dance music straight after.

The Exit
The band can lead part of the evening for you with some specially selected tunes as you leave.
