2nd wedding anniversary

Amy and I had dinner at Brighton Savoy for our second wedding anniversary. We had our wedding reception in the Seaview room at Brighton Savoy in 2012. The staff – Ian, Sylvia & co made our second anniversary very special through their prompt, warm and professional service. They really went over and above and I would thoroughly recommend Brighton Savoy as an event and dinner venue. Thanks very much for making our second wedding anniversary very special.

Seaview Restaurant Dinner on 13/5/14

Phone booked for my wife’s birthday. Elaine greeted us by name and provided an impeccable service to the end. The duty manager Ian, also provided impeccable service and presented us with a bottle of wine to celebrate the occasion. Great service and great food. We”ll be back. As locals we’ve driven past hundreds of times but never dropped in, do yourself a favour!

Lovely & Convenient Location

I was alone in the hotel for 2 nights and as pre-arranged, I was joined by my husband on the third and final night. I couldn’t have felt safer or more welcome anywhere. The hotel is in a lovely and convenient location and the service offered is of a very high standard. I congratulate everyone involved.

The best

The hotel, the staff and the whole atmosphere is so welcoming. Service is great and the view as you sit for breakfast is so relaxing. Watching the sea, the joggers and boats go by It is nice if you don’t need to be in the middle of the city. It is close to a lovely shopping area as well as to St Kilda. Great for conventions and weddings or similar functions.

Beautiful location, friendly hotel

We stayed at the hotel, as we were attending a family members 80th Birthday being held in the area. We arrived late at might after a 14 hour flight from Los Angeles, it was so refreshing to see the night reception so welcoming and helpful, we were concerned that arriving so late would be a problem, but were assured that the hotel had 24 hour service.

We were so impressed when we woke up the next day in day light to look out the window to see this most amazing view of the water and beach, it felt lime we were in Hawaii, with the. Clean bright sand, blue skies and water. It was such a surprise as being in a taxi driving in at night half asleep , we didn’t comprehend the location.

We really appreciated free wi-fi, which was fast and easy to access. Breakfast every morning, was nice, and the hotel reception staff where very helpful, in providing us with local knowledge, and suggesting some of the popular dining locations, downtown.

I want to move and live here

I fell in love with Brighton Savoy, during my stay, my bay view room was beautiful and it was a pleasure to stare out the window and just take in the beach, the view and watching the ships go past.

The star here though is the view

The star here though is the view. It was lovely to watch the kite surfers and the fab sunset. Just a few meters to the beach. You can walk for miles in either direction along the beach path.

Location, location, location

Location, location, location right on the beach. Free Parking and free wi-fi played a big part in this selection as well as its proximity to the metro/train to get into downtown Melbourne. The staff were very helpful and solicitous (I had an extremely bad cold). Church Street is within easy walking distance and provides lovely restaurants and shops.

Great hotel in a beautiful location!

This is a lovely hotel! Stayed here for our wedding & it was just perfect!! Beautiful views over the bay as well as a nice modern room. The restaurant has really nice food also. Its approx a 20 min drive from the city but its worth the drive.

Great location, nice hotel

We stayed here twice in January. Both times in room 305, a top floor superior room with sea view.Plenty of private underground parking. Very helpful and efficient reception staff. Lift to all floors and the 2 level car park.

Large bedroom with sofa

Large bedroom with sofa, desk, small dining table, fridge, tea/coffee. All very smart and immaculately clean. A good size bathroom with a huge shower – it had shower heads at both ends. On our second visit, there was some odour from the sink overflow, which they dealt with very quickly – thanks. Our room was always cleaned early in the day.

Travelled alone on business from the UK

Travelled alone on business from the uk and stayed 8 nights at Brighton Savoy. The hotel is lovely and very welcoming with fabulous staff (without exception) Dining in the hotel is also very good though the menu is quite small. My bedroom and bathroom were huge, bright and clean. Excellent location right on the sea front with the quirky Church Street just one block away. About a 10 – 15 minute drive into CBD or a 10 minute train ride from Church Street. Superb, free underground parking facility. Free wi-fi which worked very well in my room (quite close to reception..!)

Staff were all very welcoming

Staff were all very welcoming the bedding and layout of the rooms were well designed and very comfortable. The view from the room was fantastic – after we upgraded. The breakfast was very filling and good value for money. Again the staff were superb.
